Fulbridge Social Care supply to residential and educational settings all over the UK, Our teams are a strong mix of qualified, experienced and inducted residential support agency workers. We are in a unique position in that we specialise in both recruitment and training and are therefore able to train individuals entering the sector for the first time with specific training and qualifications relevant to working with either adults or children.

Fulbridge Social Care have implemented policies and procedures in line with OFSTED, DfE & CQC requirements in relation to recruitment, vetting and training of all our Residential Support Agency Workers to ensure all staff are compliant in accordance to national regulations and standards. Fulbridge Social Care undertake safe recruitment on all candidates, we understand we have a responsibility to ensure safe recruitment is carried out to ensure the safety and wellbeing of both children and vulnerable adults within our clients care settings.
All our RSWs will be required to obtain an enhanced DBS for Fulbridge Social Care as the role involves working with both adults and children in care and support settings. The Enhanced DBS cost is £60 and processed via Fulbridge Candidate Screening services. Candidates that already subscribe to the DBS on-line status checks will not be required to obtain a new enhanced DBS. Fulbridge would require a copy of the registered DBS certificate as part of compliance.

Fulbridge Social Care’s casual workers are primarily used in our client’s settings to provide interaction, guidance, support, and encouragement to individuals in a variety of settings. The position involves enabling service users to develop by providing practical and emotional support. You will work as part of a team to maintain a stable, happy and caring environment that puts the health, safety and welfare of the service users first.
Intrinsic Functions for the Role:
+ Maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for service users
+ Ability to communicate clearly and easily with service users
+ Strong understanding of safeguarding the vulnerable
+ Support service users with complex and challenging behaviours
+ Motivate and engage service users in group activities
+ Ensure professional boundaries are kept at all times
+ Protect service users from all forms of abuse
+ Write accurate reports for reviews
+ Transfer service users using company vehicle when required
+ Take responsible care for the health and safety of yourself and others
+ To accompany service users on outdoor activities when required
+ Supervise family contacts
+ Support with everyday tasks such as cooking, shopping, education etc.
+ To physically intervene if a resident’s behaviour is dangerous to others or themselves, in accordance with procedural guidance of the establishment and relevant legislation.
+ Undertake manual handling duties e.g. loading and unloading washing machine when required.
+ Ability to work well in stressful environments.
+ Reporting missing persons to the Police, responsible local authority etc and support in searching for missing persons on foot if needed.

Once compliant, our qualified and trainee RSAWs will then be placed on our live rota whereby you will inform us of your availability weekly and we will offer placements to fit around your availability.
Available Shift Patterns (Monday – Sunday):
8am – 11pm + sleep
3pm – 11pm + sleep
8am – 11pm
3pm – 11pm
10pm – 8am (Waking Watch)
